Dairy 1st October 2011

An early morning at work, woke early and went for a long walk before work (even before my first caffeine kick of the day :) )

Exercise diary
40 minute walk

Food diary
Water: 4 glasses
Black tea: 3 mugs with semi-skimmed milk
Coffee: 1 mug of caffetiere coffee with semi-skimmed milk
Red wine: 2 glasses

  • 10:00: 4 rashers bacon (grilled), 5 sausages (grilled), 3 eggs scrambled, ⅓ tin of tomatoes
  • 18:40: 6 salt and pepper squid, beef teryaki and stir-fried asian greens
  • 22:10: 2 squares dark chocolate

Dairy – 30th September 2011

I’m going to do an intermittent fast today since yesterday was quite a rich food day, have got a light soup for dinner at work and will try to not eat anything until then.

Edit: That went better than I thought it would, didn’t really feel hungry until about 16:30, will try to fit an IF into my pattern weekly now

  • 21:00: 40g Biltong and 30g 70% chocolate

    Dairy – 29th September 2011

    Off to the coast for my birthday, wonderful weather out there, walk along the beach and find somewhere to serve me a steak :)

    6 mile walk, all in barefoot shoes or barefoot on the beach

    Food diary
    Red wine: 3 medium glass
    Water: 1 glass, 4 bottles
    Black tea: 2 mugs with semi-skimmed milk

    • 08:00: smoked mackerel fillet, 1 avocado, large amount of beetroot and apple ‘slaw
    • 13:40: 10oz rump steak, large amount of seasonal veg (Happy Birthday to me…)
    • 15:10: 1 scoop real dairy vanilla icecream (my birthday cake)
    • 19:30: 2 duck breasts, braised red cabbage, beetroot and apple ‘slaw

    Has been a lovely day, reached about 30°C, loved walking around in my Merrel Trail Glove shoes. Had a long walk along the beach in bare feet, wonderful feeling for late September in Britain.

    I think I must have walked about 6 miles in total, never really explored Sandsend and Whitby before to this extent, looking forward to returning for the Goth Festival at the end of October.

    1 hour walking around the ground with boys looking at stars

    Herbal tea: 1 cup of Chamomile
    Coffee: 1 medium Costas latte – semi-skimmed

    • 09:00: smoked mackerel fillet, two eggs scrambled with butter, large amount beetroot and apple ‘slaw
    • 17:00: 5 sausages, 5 tomatoes, cucumber, coleslaw, coronation chicken, tuna and piccalilli
    • 19:30: 1 apple
    • 23:00: 100g prawn cocktail

    Diary – 27th September 2011

    40 minutes walk around town picking up shopping
    on my feet all morning at work chasing children

    Food diary
    Water: 5 glasses
    Black tea: 4 mugs with semi-skimmed milk
    Herbal tea: 1 mug Rosehip
    Whisky: 1 glass of Highland Park :)

    • 08:15: plate of scrambled eggs
    • 10:00: 1 small apple
    • 12:30: 3 ribs in jerk sauce, loads of coleslaw, 1 apple
    • 15:30: 30g raw chocolate bar (75% cocoa solids)
    • 19:30: big bowl of spiced butternut squash and sweet potato soup
    • 21:30: 1½ pears and a handful of coconut flakes

    Been a good couple of days, staying pretty primal, bit too much chocolate but needed it ;)
